Rust destroying twig trips raid alert6/12/2023 Branch 9 power off to use as you please leaving 0. You could supply 2 turrets have the 3rd output of 10 going to a branch. It's a shame that splitters don't recalculate when one of the outputs devices is destroyed (didn't last I tried). Admin asked if he could copy the base and add it to the servers raidable bases, it's probably still there but he made some changes. They raged a lot, couldn't figure it out and complained to admin and apparently accused admin of turning on the turret lol. It was elaborate and silly but wiped a 4 man offlining my little solo base. On breaking a ladder hatch leading nowhere dropped down blocking the exit, door at far end of room opened revealing a shotty trap on top shelf and turret on bottom that started to power up. Shelf in open room was twig, it had locked boxes on it I used for junk. In one base I had a loot room with 3 double doors, one open "oops". Stick a branch on it leading to a blocker which activated a smart alarm when the twig was broken. When I could be arsed I used bits of twig for damage detection., a half wall or frame or floor above am area I expected to get boomed. If you found this content useful, like and subscribe! Ooof, this is not YT, peace! Right now, unfortunately, the splitter does not recalculate the energy distribution upon powered item destruction (it's weird tbh). This would allow wiring a branch into the 3rd output of the splitter and trigger the alarm if the incoming energy is above 10. (2) Splitter recalculating energy distribution if one of the items powered by a splitter gets destroyed. ![]() (1) AT having a pass-through output, subsequently wired into a blocker. As normally it's the first and an early event of the raid (assuming there are auto turrets) and it's an expensive enough event to produce high confidence that the team needs to jump online.įrom game mechanics PoV I could see two possible ways to detect the turret destroyed: One of the possible ways to achieve this would be to allow the electrician to detect that an auto turret was destroyed. The Signal/noise ratio is important, as it's not always easy to convince the team to subscribe to an alarm. And I believe it would happen if the defenders had an early and reasonably reliable alarm notifying them that the raid had started. IMO we would all have more fun if more attempts to offline raid would turn into online raids. (2) unreliable gimmicks: the autoturret low ammo signal blocking the alarm and turret ammo kept at low at all times or an electric component under the turret and praying it will get destroyed together with the turret, wiring up "has target" and getting online every single time a naked jumps around your compound. (1) A substantial damage already done to the base: electric components on the walls, HBHF sensors inside the base / inside honeycomb, etc. They all so far fall into two categories: There are plenty of ways around there to detect an (offline) raid and bring your team online. /r/RustConsole (Rust console discussion)./r/playrustservers (Server advertising)./r/playrustpublic (Official Reddit servers).Support powered by DigitalOcean Other Links Join the discord for discussion and support.
